Ribbon Tag squares and blocks

When I made Kenneth's first minky blanket, I had some left over fabric from it and decided I needed to utalize it up instead of just throwing it away. I knew I wanted to make him one of those Ribbon tag squares that had something crinkly inside of it. So I set out to get the ribbon for this project. While out looking I came across some other minky fabric that would also work very well for one. So I bought it and ended up making 3 of them. Afterwards I still had some fabric and had also wanted to make him some blocks to play with so that was part of why I got the other fabric too. :) Plus it was a great excuse to get some more ribbon to use the left overs and make bows. :) I only have made a couple of the blocks, I have lots more to make but that may be neglected until next summer depending on how I'm feeling before school starts
