Wedding day for Katie and Aj

Saturday  the 18th we woke up and were able to relax a little before getting ready. I decided to curl my hair for the wedding and so had to start curling it well before we had to leave for the temple. Brittany helped me curl my back and we got done in time for Tim and I to leave with his grandparents.
Being at the sealing was amazing. Besides Tim's and mine, I have only been to one other, my best friend Brooke and her husband. It was so great to hear again the blessings we will receive being together and the covenants we made. I especially enjoyed hearing the council the sealer gave to them. It was a good reminder for Tim and I on what is really important and what we need to do better.
After the sealing we went out and waited for Aj and Katie to come out. During that time it started to rain. Luckily it wasn't awful and the Temple had big umbrellas waiting for the bride and groom to use. Once they were out the photographer took lots of pictures and once we were done with ones for us we went back to Tim's parents place, which was much needed Kenneth no longer wanted to be outside and was tired. Once back, we laid Kenneth down and then got busy setting up everything for the reception.
The reception was great and a few people came, Tim enjoyed it because he was able to see some of his old friends. Kenneth wasn't the happiest during the reception, though so a lot of us took turns keeping him happy.
After the reception was over and they had left, Tim and I went out to the Battleground chapel to see our friends the Westensees. It was great to see them since it's been since April that we last saw them. Andrew had no idea that we might be come so he was surprised to see us. We talked for a while and I got to hold their little boy Parker. It was hard to believe how little he was and that Kenneth was once that size too. But I loved every minute of holding that sweet boy. Once we were done there we headed back to Tim's parents, on the way a deer decided to cross the street and luckily Tim was paying close attention and was able to hit the brakes soon enough so we didn't hit it. Once back at his parents, we got ready and headed to bed.
