Our Pioneer Day weekend

This past weekend was very enjoyable and luckily started on Friday night, because Tim was officially done with school!!!!! We went and baby-sat one of our friend's son Ryker, while his mom went to another friend's graduation. It was fun watching Ryker, he's such a cutie. After baby-sitting Ryker, we went to DQ for some dinner and ice cream. It was delicious as always and a great date night thing to do after baby-sitting.
Saturday Tim and I were able to sell one of our desks that was taking up space in our kitchen. We're now in the market for a dining room table!!!!! We've been married for over a year and a half and have sat down at a table together in our own place once. That was when we were  first married too. I'm very anxious to get a table, with chairs so we can actually invite friends over for dinner. After the person who bought the desk left we were able to take our recycling to the recycling bins, and take our di stuff to the di. It feels so good to get things cleared out of here, and I'm looking to clearing out even more stuff as we prepare for our little one to come. After looking through DI very quickly they had nothing we wanted, we went to Porters where I got some buttons from their button bin, and also got a kit to make the baby a blanket, it was half off!!!! I was a little sad we didn't know what the baby was because I'm so ready to make things for them!!!! But we got a good neutral green color! After porters I let Tim go play some video games with his friends, I took a much needed nap and the made 20 flowers clips from gerber daises and 30 something of another type. Then went to bed!
Sunday was a great day as well, I had visiting teaching in the morning, and then we went to church. It was so much fun, I love helping out in the nursery! After church I made some more flowers, and then we went over to one of Tim's co-worker's for a BBQ and fireworks to celebrate Pioneer Day. It was lots of fun getting to know another one of Tim's co-worker's.
Like I said a great weekend!!!! This week is going to fly by I can already feel it, that or it's going to take forever, I keep feeling like each day is the next day, so that could be problematic. I plan to finish working on my flowers to get them done!!!! One day this week we're hoping to move around our living room and get our spare room cleaned out as well.
