First Weekend of June

The First weekend of June wasn't terribly exciting but we still enjoyed it.

Friday the 1st: Tim went to his normal Friday night Magic play. While he was gone I went to my friend Rachel Tatum's place. We just hung out and talked together, while at first her daughter Ashlyn played with Kenneth, then they slept. It was fun hanging out talking together. Tim came back later with Spencer (Rachel's husband). Both of us girls were hot and ready for something cold, so the boys went out and got us a blizzard. We talked for a little longer and then went home.

Saturday the 2nd: Tim and I hung around the house not doing much at first. It was nice to sleep in a little and have someone else around to help take care of Kenneth in the morning. In the afternoon our friends Mike and Kenna came over. We always have fun hanging out with them. Mike and Tim usually talk video games and other computer stuff together. While Kenna and I will do crafts together and make some food. This day we went to go get supplies for a craft that I'm going to make for Kenneth. Then when we got back we all ate dinner outside together and enjoyed the nice evening. Kenna and I even played a game of Ticket to Ride together outside. After they left Tim and I enjoyed the rest of the evening together.

Sunday the 3rd we went to church which is always enjoyable. I hadn't been to our ward since April just from all the traveling and we had stake conference the one Sunday that I was in town in May. After church we came home and put Kenneth down for a nap and he slept the afternoon away. That evening we went to our friends the Welch's. We played a couple rounds of Mexican Train and had dessert along with the Tatums.
