Memorial Day weekend

After getting back from Utah, Kenneth and I spent a full day at home and on the 25th we left again with Tim and Tim's sister Brittany. We headed to Boise, once we got to Boise Tim and I with the help of Brittany we put Kenneth down for bed. Afterwards Tim and I met up with Brooke and Tim Huntsman at the Cheesecake factory to celebrate my birthday. We had fun hanging out with them and had great time talking together. Afterwards we came back to Tim's grandparents and after talking to Tim's brother Aj we went to bed.

Saturday morning once we were already and had breakfast in us we went up to my grandpa's cabin. We went up a different way then I was use to going so that was interesting and very very bumpy. Thankfully Kenneth stayed asleep for the majority of the trip. Once up there we all explored outside for a while, and then headed inside after my family got back from a ride they had gone on. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone. Mom and I got to make some hair accessories. Plus we played a game of Ticket to Ride with Brittany. After dinner, we had birthday cake that Sara had made for me that was delicious! Then after putting Kenneth to bed. Brittany, Mom, Grandpa, and I all played Chicken Foot together which was lots of fun. :) Then Brittany and I played a couple rounds of Ticket to Ride before we all headed up to bed.

Sunday morning we all ate breakfast quickly and then got ready and headed to Idaho City to go to church. Brittany, Tim, Kenneth, and I only stayed for Sacrament meeting. We headed back to his grandparents and once they were home from church we all had lunch together. Then Brittany, AJ, and I played a round of Ticket to Ride. Before Kenneth and I headed to Ben and Sara's place to hang out. It was lots of fun! We haven't played together in a long time, mostly because every time I'm in town one of them has been busy with school or work. Sara and I spent a lot of time talking together and I taught them how to play Ticket to Ride.

Monday morning Ben and I got to spend sometime talking together while we ate Breakfast and got the kids ready for the day. When Sara got home from doing some chores we went to Zamzows to get them some things for their garden then met up with mom, dad, and Grandpa. We went to my Great Grandma and Grandpa Mefford, Great Aunt, and Great Uncle Grant's graves in Nyssa Oregon. Then headed to Ontario, Oregon to my Grandma Mefford, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Jared's graves. It was interesting to be there with Kenneth and say this is your Great Grandma. He unfortunately only has my Grandpa left on my side. But it was great as well being able to remember how amazing my grandma was. After going their, I went and picked up Tim and Brittany and we headed back to Rexburg. On the way back we took the scenic route and that took a lot less time then the other, mostly because Tim still drove the same speed. I wasn't complaining. Kenneth did much better on this car ride then on the way there. When we were back in Rexburg and got Kenneth out of the car you could tell he knew he was home and was very happy to be out of his car seat. :)

It was a great trip and I wish it could've lasted longer in all areas. I love spending time with my family!
