A covenant marriage is one where Christ is the center of the marriage and as spouse move closer in their relationship with him they also move closer to each other.
We are to make sure we have intentional personal dedication to one another and God.
Exclusive cleaving and Unity, our spouse is the only one we are to cleave to and As Spencer W. Kimball states it doesn't include anything or anyone.
Practice spiritual patterns, prayer and active religious involvement. Couples able to do this are happier together and have a more equal one as well.
